New Hope Students 5th-6th Grade Camp Leader
NH Students 5th-6th Grade Camp, held this year at Camp Tejas just outside of La Grange, Texas, is for 5th-6th Grade Students and will take place July 15-18, 2024. Summer Camp would not be possible without the participation of our New Hope Church family. When you serve as a leader at Summer Camp, you get to be a part of the Life Change that is going to happen! We love seeing our Adults and High School students engage in the next generation of New Hopers through this life-changing weekend. Deadline to sign-up: Monday, June 17, 2024
The responsibility of a 5th-6th Grade Camp Leader is as follows:
- All leaders must be 16 and above.
- The leader will stay with the students in a cabin at Camp Tejas from July 15th until returning to the Church on July 18th.
- They are responsible for studying, preparing, and teaching Life Group lessons as well as leading Debrief discussions and holding students accountable with participating in their Encounters that NH Students will provide.
- The leader is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for students.
- The leader will keep up with the students in all activities, ensuring that they have a positive experience.
- The leader will maintain a positive attitude throughout the weekend, showing the love of Christ, recognizing the reality that Summer Camp, to many students, will be their first encounter with the Gospel.
