288 Campus Micro Missions - July 2019
The purpose of New Hope Micro Missions is to connect to the community, help our neighbors, minister to our members, be a beacon of light, and most importantly MAKE CHRIST KNOWN!
In July, the 288 Campus will send two teams of 30 people to some New Hope members homes in our local community. Teams will be various tasks such as yard work and/or cleaning out the home, garage or storage space. Teams will require participants with the ability to lift some potentially heavy items, bend, squat, and/or sit on the floor. Minor children are allowed to participate under the supervision of their parent/legal guardian and must be able to help contribute towards this labor intensive effort in order to register. Teams will meet up at New Hope's 288 Campus at 7:30am on Saturday, July 20th for Check-in, Micro Mission T-shirt Pick-up & Team Orientation. From there, teams will head out to their off-site location and work until noon. Registration is required and the cost is $15 per person, which includes a New Hope Micro Mission t-shirt (available for pick-up the day-of the micro mission).
NOTE: Registrants are responsible for their own transportation. Anyone carpooling from the 288 Campus to the off-site location will do so at their own risk. Please wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged. The suggested attire includes: long shorts or pants, your New Hope Micro Mission t-shirt, closed-toed shoes (NO flip flops or sandals), work gloves and sunscreen. Those with lawn equipment (weed-eaters, push mowers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, etc.) are encouraged to bring those items along. Minor children must remain under the supervision of their adult parent / guardian for the duration of the Micro Mission.
